ABOUT THE GUILD

Members of the Guild enjoy sharing information, learning new skills and perfecting the old ones. Quilting is always a learning experience, and the members of our group are always willing to help new members.

We invite anyone who is interested in quilting, regardless of experience level, to attend our meetings and join our organization. A prospective member may attend two meetings before they join our group. Yearly membership dues are $15.00. Dues are waived for members over 80 years of age.

OUR MEETINGS

Regular business meetings are held at 12:30 on the fourth Tuesday of each month (except December, when the Guild does not have a meeting or work sessions) on the third floor of the Church of the Covenant, 267 East Beau Street, Washington, PA.

After the business meeting, we have a demonstration on a quilting project. Members also have the opportunity to show their current projects.

All other Tuesdays of the month we meet at 10:00 a.m. at the church and work on our group quilt-in-progress. The first Tuesday of the month is devoted to making youth quilts which are donated to charity.
QUILT SHOW

The Guild sponsors a quilt show bi-annually. The next show will be held November 8th and 9th, 2013 at the Church of the Covenant.  The show will feature contemporary and traditional quilts and other quilt-related items. The show will include a boutique, vendors, and a quilt raffle.
